Evangelos Handakas is a PhD candidate in the Environmental Engineering Laboratory of the Department of Chemical Engineering of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). He is also a student in the master program of the Mathematics School in AUTH, with specialization in “Statistics and Modeling”.  He has a diploma in Chemical Engineering and in Civil Infrastructure Engineering.  Moreover, he has a M.Sc. degree in “Construction Management”.  His main research interests are in the field of computational modeling with an emphasis on biology systems and on nanotoxicology. Furthermore, he has conducted scientific activities in the domain of solid waste management.
