Exposure science advances in recent years have focused mainly on the development of aggregate exposure schemes (most of them accompanied by related computational software) and the extensive
use of biomonitoring data. Exposure for chemical compounds is assessed through their major life cycle steps, with a special focus on environmental and consumer exposure components.
INTEGRA will provide advanced modeling tools for assessing external and internal exposure, supported by refined algorithms for the backward calculations necessary for biomonitoring data assimilation.
